art gallery

The backlit glazed mezzanines are the architectural peculiarity of the Riccardo Crespi Art Gallery realized in the basement of an ancient palace in Milan. The goal was to maximize the surface for the exhibitions and to obtain a good flexibility of the existing space. To this end, a movable staircase on wheels and a metal wire railing (removable as well) has been designed. You can combine this 2 items in 4 different ways, changing the perception of the area of the basement and the circulation of the public.
