recovery of a typical aeolian home

It has been a fantastic team work, I was the architect but also the coach and the stylist and they (& my favourite clients) were the soul and the heart of the house. Outside we’ve done some earthworks to extend the terrace and in order to create technological or service spaces and inside we have reinforced the structures and designed a new layout to meet the client’s specific requirements. Our work was always driven by love and respect for the island, its people and the local sicilian culture with a special feeling for the atmosphere of the amazing film “the postman” shot on this island.
